My experience as a baby2mom egg donor

Deciding to be an egg donor was one of the was one of the biggest steps I have ever had to take in my life.  But it is not something that I will ever regret doing.

Nothing felt real until I took my first steps off the airplane in Johannesburg.  Then it dawned on me just how bog of a different I was making, not just in my own life, but in the life of another.  I was suddently terrified, not for myself, but I was scared of faling and letting down my recipient who has done so much for me.

I had such a lovely experience with baby2mom.  I did not have to worry about anything and when I had questions, Jenny was right there to help me.  She arranged everything from the flights to shuttles and appointments.  I was very apprehensive to travel all the way to Johannesburg, but the entire process was very stress free.

I could not wish for a better clinic than Medfem in Johannesburg.  Even though I developed a mild fear of needles, Krina was always available to provide me with assistance and i will forever be grateful to her.   They explained every step of the way, which really made me feel included in the process and not just like an outsider.

The most gripping experience for me was waking up after the retrieval.  The first thing I remember asking was if everything went well.  I felt so much relief and happiness when the nurse told me that it was successful.

I wish my recipient the best life possible and would also like to thank her for choosing me to be part of this wonderful experience.  I truly hope she finds happiness throughout this experience.
